RE-Made Part 1; Denim!

Workshop date:

Saturday May 11th, 10-4:30 pm.

RE-Made is a monthly workshop series, designed to inspire participants to look at their clothing in a new light. Not only will you utilize garments that would otherwise go to waste, but with the growing trend of sustainable handcrafted fashion, you will create work that is modern and completely original! This series is instructed by avid up-cycler, Robyn Dombey of Blue Bangs Shop.

In this first workshop, students will rework denim garments learning techniques such as releasing the hem, removing the waist band for adjustment, rearranging the pocket to create shadow pocket effect and more!

What could be better than reinventing your well-loved clothing you ask? Receiving a $25 Jomar Stores Gift Card when you sign up for this workshop! Jomar is a great resource for finding the materials you need for this course.

Please come prepared with:

  • 2 Pairs of jeans

  • Sewing supplies: pins, scissors, ruler, sewing thread.
