Meet the instructor:
Hajar Muhammad
I am a passionate sewing instructor with a diverse range of expertise in the world of sewing and fashion. Even though I’ve been sewing since I was a child, over the last 13 years, I’ve really honed my skills. For the last 10 years, I have had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and skills with enthusiastic learners of all ages. My areas of expertise include fashion design, garment construction, pattern making and grading, couture sewing techniques, home decor sewing, and hand sewing.
In 2021, I started a business where I construct custom appear for women, men and children. I design everything from resort wear and streetwear to bridal and prom. When a client comes to me, I like to incorporate their personal style into their pieces.
My teaching philosophy is similar to my design style. It revolves around empowering my students to discover and embrace their creativity while building a strong foundation in sewing skills. I encourage my students to unleash their creativity and develop their unique style to confidently bring their visions to life.
