INTERIOR
DESIGN
Through hands-on projects, engaging demonstrations, and collaborative activities, we’ll cover everything you need to understand design principles, space planning, color theory, and material selection.
This course introduces students to essential skills in visual communication for interior design. Over six weeks, participants will learn the basics of hand sketching, floor plan drawing, rendering techniques, and color theory—highlighting the development of a personal design voice. Through weekly lectures, guided studio exercises, and group critiques, students will learn to turn design ideas into expressive drawings and layouts. The course ends with students creating a small portfolio that features floor plans, rendered perspectives, and color studies, preparing them for future design projects or more advanced study—no prior drawing or design experience required.*
