Is there parking? There is usually street parking available in the area.
When do you open? Please join us at an Open House to tour the space. Learn more
Can I wait with my child/friend/family member while they take a class? We welcome parents to come in to say hello and to speak with our staff. We ask that parents/guardians/friends wait at one of the coffee shops in the area.
Do you sell supplies? Yes! We sell a variety of fabric and sewing notions to students and to the public.
What sewing machine do you recommend I buy? We recommend buying the same machine as used in class. The Singer 4411 or 4423
Can I host a workshop in your space? Yes! We offer curated workshops to our community monthly. Contact us at info@made-institute.com to submit a workshop idea.
When should I arrive for my class/workshop? Please arrive no more than 15 mins prior to your class start time.
I booked a class/workshop for the University City location by accident, can I switch it? Yes. Please contact us at info@made-institute to request the correct class enrollment. We will honor your request if there is still availability in your preferred class.
Can I purchase gift certificates? Yes! We offer gift certificates for any amount for sewing supplies, workshops, classes, or studio memberships. Learn more
