This course builds on what was learned in Patternmaking 1 and focuses on pattern manipulation. Transform slopers into complete garment patterns and add design details like darts, seams, gathers, pleats, and tucks. Develop skills to start creating skirts, pants, jumpsuits, jeans, collars, and more! This course is suitable for individuals with basic to intermediate sewing skills, or for those who have completed our Sewing 1 or 2 and Patternmaking 1 courses. This course is transferable to the Fashion Certificate Program.*

Create a bodice pattern block with Seam Allowance, Notches

Use Dart Pivoting for diverse bust and waist dart designs

Implement Princess Seams for both Bodice Front and Back

Explore Yokes, horizontal fit lines, Torso darts, asymmetrical darts

Include Collars, Roll Lines, Button-Down shirt CF Extensions, Sleeve variations, and A-line, Yoke, Tier, Trumpet/gored designs
