Is there parking? There is usually street parking available in the area.
When do you open? Our studio opens to our members and walk-ins at 11am
Can I wait with my child/friend/family member while they take a class? We welcome parents to come in to say hello and to speak with our staff. We ask that parents/guardians/friends wait at one of the coffee shops in the area.
Do you sell supplies? Yes! We sell a variety of fabric and sewing notions to students and to the public.
What sewing machines do you use for classes? We use Singer 4411 and brother domestic machines at our University City location.
What sewing machine do you recommend I buy? We recommend buying the same machine as used in class. The Singer 4411 or 4423
Can I host a workshop in your space? Yes! We offer curated workshops to our community monthly. Contact us at info@made-institute to submit a workshop idea.
Do you offer classes for children or teens? Yes! We are so excited to expand our offerings to children and teens ages 10 and up.
When should I arrive for my class/workshop? Please arrive no more than 10 mins prior to your class start time.
I booked a class/workshop for the Spring Arts location by accident, can I switch it? Yes. Please contact us at info@made-institute to request the correct class enrollment. We will honor your request if there is still availability in your preferred class.
Can I purchase gift certificates? Yes! We offer gift certificates for any amount for sewing supplies, workshops, classes, or studio memberships. Learn more
