Sewing 3: Street Wear-Designer Finishes

Combine your sewing knowledge with your love of ready to wear garments. This class will focus on teaching the finishes used in the industry to make 5 pocket jeans and a bomber jacket. We'll be utilizing industrial machinery and production patterns to complete masterful designer finishes. Skills covered include operating 4 thread overlock, industrial 5-thread safety stitch, industrial single needle straight stitch, cutting and sewing denims, and inserting a lining and ribbing to complete a bomber jacket.

Note: this course is a perfect segue into Made's tailoring and evening wear courses.
