What information does Affirm require to determine if I can prequalify for a loan?

Affirm verifies your identity through your name, email address, mobile phone number, birthdate, and the last four digits of your social security number.

What are my payment options?
You can pay your Affirm payments using a debit card, bank account, or check. Credit cards are accepted to make a down payment. Stay on top of your payments by turning on Auto Pay to automatically deduct your monthly payment from your debit card or bank account on each due date.

Can I sign up for payment reminders?
Yes! You’ll automatically receive email and mobile reminders three days before each payment due date.

How do I cancel or refund my Affirm transaction?

How do I pay my Affirm bills?
To make or schedule payments for your course through Affirm, sign into your Affirm account on affirm.com, navigate to Loans, then click Pay. Follow the prompts to select how much you want to pay, when, and via which payment method. You can also make payments through Affirm’s iOS app or Android app. Once the app is downloaded, sign in to your account and navigate to Loans, then tap Pay. Choose the payment amount, date, and payment method, then select Pay now.

Why was I prompted for a down payment?
Affirm may determine you don’t qualify for the full balance of the purchase. When this happens, they’ll ask you to make a down payment. The down payment will process immediately after you confirm your Affirm loan.

Why was my Affirm application not approved?
If your application was not approved, check your inbox. Affirm will send an email with more details on why a loan was not offered right now.

What is the APR and who are the lending partners?

Your rate will be 10-36% APR based on credit, and is subject to an eligibility check. Payment options through Affirm are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required.
