How do I select my slot?

Use the link provided via email to select your slot. Slots are available on a first come first served basis, so don’t wait to choose the date and time that works best for you.

If you cannot make any of the available slots, please email the admissions team:

What should I bring for my creative project?

Part 1 - Your moodboard. If it is a physical moodboard you might consider a folder, binder, envelope, bag or box to keep it safe.

Part 2 - The piece inspired by your moodboard. We will have dress forms and a rack for you to use if needed.

Extra tips - Bring a notepad and pen with some questions prepared for our judges. Bring any past creative work that the judges might like to see, to supplement Part 1 and 2.

How long should the presentation of the creative project be?

Be prepared to talk about your moodboard and piece for about 10 mins. Describe the images you used and why they are important to you. Then describe your process making the piece and why you made the choice you did. Talk about why you think it is successful, don't be self critical. Talk about your past experience with fashion and what your values are.

There will be about 10 mins of questions from the judges.

Who will the judges be?

The judges will vary depending on the date you selected. All our judges are either graduates of the program or instructors. That means they have been in your shoes before and just want you to have the best opportunity to represent yourself.

What are the judges looking for?

They are looking to see that you understand the full scope of the program, the classes included and how it will help you on your fashion career path. Think about your specific goals and how the skills we provide will get you there.

My moodboard is digital, how do I present it?

You can either bring a laptop/IPad or we can use our projector.  We highly recommend printing it out to avoid tech issues (Staples / UPS / Fedex ...) . Please email your project to me by 9.00am on the day of your appointment if you wish to use the projector.

Do you have any tips for presenting?

Practice! Use a mirror or a friend/family member to practice what you want to say. Bring a notepad and pen, with a couple of questions prepared for the judges.

What do I wear?

Something comfortable, presentable and professional that shows off who you are as a person and a designer.
