Our most advanced class offered to date! We will be utilizing age old techniques taken from Parisian Couture including artful drape/design, silhouette, custom fit, lace/trim applique, beading, and hand sewn finishings/hems. Made Institute owner, Rachel Ford will teach the couture methods she learned over her 10 years in the Philadelphia Opera Company's costume department. Students will complete a boned bodice of their own design in the fabric of their choice.
**Part 2 of this Master Class will dive into the draping/finishings of the skirt portion to complete the gown.
This is a master class. Students should have advanced sewing skills, and have completed all Made sewing & patternmaking courses or equivalent experience.
