Preferred: Fashion Illustration 1,2, Fashion Industry Seminar

Created for aspiring fashion designers, this course will demystify the path towards having a marketable and beautiful line of clothing. This course is  tailored for students who have taken all of our previous DDP program courses. Through class lectures, critiques, and sketching workshops, students will solidify their vision and map out a direction for their line. We will complete line sheets, flats, and fashion sketches that will prepare students for designing their final collections. We will cover design exploration, art and political movements, cultural references, film inspiration, utilitarianism, customer development and technical flats.

***Students are required to have a laptop with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software
